A USER-FRIENDLY AND INNOVATIVE PORTAL

DIGITAL BANKING

BRIEF

For one of the world’s leading banks, innovation came to life. Using state-of-the-art technologies, we fully digitized their traditional debt capital markets product. In just six (!) months, our team turned a rough idea into a full-fledged application. A unique and exciting collaboration as we helped our customer to launch their first Cloud-based application within this business area. We guided and supported our customer in numerous areas:

THE CONCEPT

The idea was to create a digitized portal that offers a transparent, user-friendly and innovative issuance process. The portal enables issuers and investors to interact in a new, direct, and smart way – on a global scale. This lowers process costs and provides more transparency for the end-users.

CUSTOMER CHALLENGE

Our customer provides debt financing instruments for million/billion-euro investments. Until now, this process was done entirely manually, resulting in high operational costs, time-consuming tasks and slow customer interaction.

MEDIAAN IN ACTION

To deliver the best possible solution, we put together a multidisciplinary team: three full stack developers, two UX-designers, one certified ethical hacker, one proxy product owner, and one solution architect. The team used the techniques listed below.

SECURITY FIRST!

As investments on the portal vary from 50 million to sums over a billion euros, security is critical. Our certified ethical hacker ensured that the platform operates according to first-class data security and documentation standards specific to the banking industry.

RESULTS

The solution relies on modern cloud infrastructure as well as the latest front- and backend technologies. Through a pragmatic agile approach, we completed the commercial launch in under six months. In addition to the technical implementation, our team was responsible for the branding and design of the application.
