There are a lot of things happening at a farm, which also means that there is a huge amount of data available. However, how do we get this data that is spread out across the entire farm? For example, it is vital to know if the water quality of the cows has dropped too low, or if the milk tank’s temperature gets too warm.
Your assignment would be to create a system that will receive data from a massive number of IoT devices with different types of sensors. For simplicity’s sake, the data will be available through an IoT device Simulator. If you’re up for an extra challenge, you’re more than welcome to create data using your own devices. The data that you received will of course have to be shown in a portal for the Farmer to use. Within this portal, the farmer needs to be able to set up numerous warnings for different types of sensors. For example, if something gets too hot, or too cold, the farmer needs to receive a notification on their mobile phone about what’s going on and where the problem takes place.
