You will be responsible for designing modern data platforms for our clients. In your role as a Data Architect at Conclusion Mediaan, you play an essential role in:

  • Analyzing a customer’s data environment and gathering requirements
  • Creating a future-proof data and AI architecture that meets the customer’s needs
  • Defining implementation strategies for new platforms
  • Ensuring data governance and data privacy
  • Ensuring the integration of AI solutions into enterprise-grade data architectures

ARE YOU THE ONE?

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Economics or Information Management (+ Data science experience)

  • You have experience designing end-to-end data solutions, from large Data Lake or Data Warehouse to Data Visualization

  • You have experience embedding AI solutions

  • You are ambitious, curious and fascinated by technology

  • You are passionate about artificial intelligence and follow the latest news in the field

  • You are a good communicator and have experience advising decision makers and developers

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in IT and Data

  • You have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS and cost management

  • You have strong knowledge of data modeling and performance optimization

  • You have strong knowledge in the area of data governance

  • Knowledge of big data technologies, tools, platforms and infrastructures such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Docker or Kubernetes is a plus

  • You have a work permit to work within the EU

  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch or German is considered an advantage

    Have you applied for a job? Great! Our HR colleagues will check your application and contact you within 1 week.
    2. GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

    You will come over to our office for a first ‘get to know each other’ talk.  During this meeting, our HR employee + one of our technical colleagues will be present.

    3. SECOND INTERVIEW

    Good news! The first interview has been very satisfying on both sides and we are one step further. In the second meeting, you will meet our business line manager and your expertise and communication skills will be the central topic of our talk.

    4. CONTRACT PROPOSAL

    During your 3rd visit, you will meet our managing director and he will make you an offer that you, hopefully, can not refuse.

    5. WELCOME!

    You will visit us one last time to sign your contract. Welcome at Mediaan!
