While some of these are to be expected, we want to be able to adapt our actions as soon as they occur. Our aim is to have the ability to adjust our actions promptly in response to these situations, although some are inevitable. The greater the traffic influx to a city, the higher the demand for parking spaces and maintenance required. Our goal is to predict maintenance requirements dynamically while taking unforeseen events into account. You will be helping us research whether we can augment maintenance predictions by incorporating streaming traffic data or if a static source of events, such as soccer games, would be adequate. This will help us determine when it is appropriate to employ streaming data in our models. During this internship, you will gain access to the following types of data:
- Parking lots data
- Bing traffic dataÂ
- Event catalogs of a major city in the Netherlands

You are following a master in Data Science or related field
You are result-oriented and a problem solver
You are passionate about artificial intelligence and follow the latest news about the field
You are a real team player
You are willing to continually update your expertise and share your knowledge with your colleagues
You have good communication skills as you will join a team of more than 15 data scientists
You have a working permit within the EU
You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or German is considered a plus
