TECHNOLOGY STACK

  • Python

  • Deep Learning frameworks (Pytorch/Tensorflow)

You make use of the latest technologies to safely and efficiently work with (big) data and build production-grade environments. You work alongside our data scientists, software engineers, security specialists, and business consultants to solve real-life challenges and provide the best possible service to our clients.

  • You work directly with our clients. You can put yourself in their shoes and explain complex machine learning concepts to them

  • You solve exciting data challenges. You ensure that the right data is available to the right people/systems

  • You understand the pros and cons of the technologies you work with. You are able to make pragmatic choices and defend them

  • Your knowledge of machine learning allows you to work alongside data scientists and bring theory into practice

  • You understand software engineering best practices and write maintainable and modular code in an agile environment

  • You are excited to learn the necessary skills and technologies to be a successful machine learning engineer

  • You take part in courses and trainings provided by Mediaan and senior colleagues

ARE YOU THE ONE?

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have a master’s degree in either Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or software engineering (+ some data science experience)

  • You are a result-driven person who likes to solve problems

  • You have strong programming knowledge and are aware of the best practices when it comes to developing software as a team (version control, scrum, CI/CD, etc)

  • You are ambitious, curious and fascinated by technology

  • You are passionate about artificial intelligence and follow the latest news about the field

  • You are a real team player with experience working in large and small teams

  • You are willing to continually update your expertise and share your knowledge with your colleagues

  • Your communication skills are good as you will join a team of more than 15 data scientists

  • You have a work permit to work in Europe

  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or German is considered a plus

    HOW DO I BECOME A MEDIANER?

    APPLICATION PROCESS

    1. APPLY
    Have you applied for a job? Great! Our HR colleagues will check your application and contact you within 1 week.
    2. GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

    You will come over to our office for a first ‘get to know each other’ talk.  During this meeting, our HR employee + one of our technical colleagues will be present.

    3. SECOND INTERVIEW

    Good news! The first interview has been very satisfying on both sides and we are one step further. In the second meeting, you will meet our business line manager and your expertise and communication skills will be the central topic of our talk.

    4. CONTRACT PROPOSAL

    During your 3rd visit, you will meet our managing director and he will make you an offer that you, hopefully, can not refuse.

    5. WELCOME!

    You will visit us one last time to sign your contract. Welcome at Mediaan!
