The CI/CD Pipeline Generator project aims to simplify the process of setting up CI/CD pipelines by offering a visual interface for creating and configuring pipelines. These pipelines should then be able to be exported for different CI/CD platforms. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge platform that supports multiple cloud providers and provides a hassle-free experience for developers and operations teams.

Key objectives:

  • Drag-and-drop interface: Develop a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that allows users to visually design their CI/CD pipelines by connecting tasks and stages.

  • Pipeline configuration: Enable users to customize and configure each task and stage within the pipeline, including integration with version control systems, code quality analysis tools, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies.

  • Dependency management: Implement a system to manage dependencies between tasks and stages in the pipeline, ensuring proper execution order.

  • Multi-platform support: Implement support to export the pipeline for multiple CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Github.

  • Multi-cloud support: Implement support for Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, ensuring that generated pipelines can seamlessly deploy applications to these platforms.

  • Pipeline visualization: Create a visual representation of the generated pipelines to enhance user understanding and facilitate troubleshooting.

  • Security and access control: Implement security features to protect sensitive pipeline configurations and integrate role-based access control.
