SOLUTION ARCHITECT

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building solutions that meet our customers‘ needs. You will work closely with development teams and business executives to identify business requirements, create technical designs, develop solutions and implement them in the organization.

As a Solution Architect at Mediaan, your key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the development of business and technology strategies and roadmaps.

  • Working closely with Product Owners/managers, UX Designers and development teams to design software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

  • Developing technical designs, including technical requirements, architecture, infrastructure, interfaces, data models and algorithms.

  • Providing guidance and support to development teams to ensure the implementation of high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements.

  • Collaborating with other architects and business stakeholders to evaluate and recommend new technologies, standards and best practices for software development.

  • Ensuring technical alignment of the software solution with existing and future system architecture.

  • Providing thought leadership, mentorship and knowledge sharing to internal teams.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have 5+ years of experience in software development and 2+ years as a Solution Architect.

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • You understand the software development lifecycle (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and have experience working with development teams.

  • You have experience designing and building complex software systems, working with modern architecture patterns and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform).

  • You have experience with data modeling, API design, microservices architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

  • You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical systems.

  • You have the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams and Architects from different functional areas.

  • Experience with architecture frameworks and methodologies (TOGAF, BPM, etc.) is a plus.

    2. GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER
    You will come over to our office for a first ‘get to know each other’ talk.  During this meeting, our HR employee + one of our technical colleagues will be present.
    3. SECOND INTERVIEW
    Good news! The first interview has been very satisfying on both sides and we are one step further. In the second meeting, you will meet our business line manager and your expertise and communication skills will be the central topic of our talk.
    4. CONTRACT PROPOSAL
    During your 3rd visit, you will meet our managing director and he will make you an offer that you, hopefully, can not refuse.
    5. WELCOME!
    You will visit us one last time to sign your contract. Welcome at Mediaan!
